چکیده
abstract the purpose of this study was relationship between schools manager’s social influence and sports teacher’s occupational empowerment in shahrekord city. the research method was descriptive - correlation. statistical population was include; all the sports teachers of shahrekord city .the sample size was determined by krejcie and morgan table (1970) which comprised 104 subjects. random sampling method was used for the statistical population. measuring tools was two questionnaires of social influence and occupational empowerment were derived from influence behavior questionnaire (ibq) developed by yukl and hilton (2002) and spritzer (1995). statistical analysis was performed on 100 questionnaires that returned. data were analyzed by statistical methods of the regression coefficient, correlation coefficient, and multivariate analysis of variance by spss18 software. the results showed there is a positive, meaningful correlation between social influence of managers and occupational empowerment of the sports teachers in shahrekord city(r=0.375, sig=0.0001, p≤0.05). result also showed components of social influence factors (legal ways, coalition and cooperation) could be predict components of occupational empowerment .
